What is the difference between MS-Word and MS-PowerPoint software?

MS Word for documents like letters, forms & etc.

MS Power Point to make presentation for varies purposes like safety orientation, show presentation in meetings & etc.

MS-Word used for writing with ability to add images ,tables , shapes or hyperlinks, while MS powerpoint for presentation with ability to add any media files also tuo add animations,sound and hyperlinks

ms word is editing word only. ms power point is slide presentational system.
