The objective of store keeping :-
1. Receiving purchase materials from purchase department and to confirm quality and quantity with the purchase order.
2.Issuing purchase requisition to the purchase department as when necessity of materials store arises.
3. Storing the materials in ware house to minimize the occurrence of risk and to prevent losses due to defective store handling.
4. Protecting of materials in ware house against fire. Theft and obsencelence.
5.Economical use of store space.
6. Providing full information about the availability of materials in ware house
