Why are companies using accounting software rather then manual?

Companies using Accounting software rather than Manual accounting. Just to save time, on click they can get any report, accuracy as well, computer is much fast than human. e.g. i would like to share my experience: when i was accountant, i used to post entries manually in ledger, when my boss asked me to give me account receivable or payable report, it takes more time to calculate each each vendor or customer through calculator then make report if you forgot 1 zero it will put you in big trouble.

They are using accounting software because it is more accurate and saves time.

Because it is faster and less errors
