Do you think there is any difference between inactive and dormant accounts?

INACTIVE ACCOUNTS MEANS THERE IS NO TRANSACTIONS I  THERE A/C COMPLETELY CLOSED

DORMANT ACCOUNTS MEANS CURRENTLY NO TRANSACTIONS BUT FUTURE WILL OCCUR THE TRANSACTIONS

Inactive account is an account with any financial body that can be activated by simple activate form under this the number remain the same . where as the dormant account is one which is dormant by the financial institution which can't be activated again.

Inactive account are those which had not in use for long time and it is also expected that this accounts shall also be not use in future. And Dormant account are those account which are not in use recently but it is expected that this accounts will may use in future.

Dormant accounts are those accounts which were transactions happened recently(the period may vary according to the company's rules).  Inactive accounts are those accounts in which transactions are being made for long time or being idle.

Yes,there is. Inactive account means an account had not been in use for a long time and not going to be used in the future.Dormant accounts are those which are presently not in use but it is likely that it may be used in the near future.

There is no difference between Inactive and Dormant account.
