How did you get your first job in the gulf ? What was your expectation of life in a new environment ? How hard was the preparation or determination ?

I got my first job in the Gulf from my father.  I was living in the United States at the time and wanted to move back to the region.  There was no Bayt.com at the time so I had no other choice but to reach out to my friends and family for job opportunities.
