The management structure need to operate according to values of a given culture. Companies in Scandinavia do well on bottom up structures because people in those cultures value opinions. Companies in Far East like Japan and Korea are extremely hierarchical and operate top down because it's people are brought up that way. Follow the local culture if you want to succeed.

Thanks for Invitation

In my opinion "Bottom - Up" , step by step and putting Mile stones to learn from mistakes then step up the layer one by one

The popularity of the bottom-up approach to management is growing. In spite of this fact, the discussions about the two major approaches are still hot.

I agree with Mr.Sherjeel Khalid answer, And I would like to add that a startup needs to adapt to its environment.

Hi Sidrah, I’m sure there is not an ideal model for managerial approach that start-up must have.

I myself visited Silicon Valley with my own project (b2b platform designed for special needs of export managers).

Valley is not encouraged about bottom-line approach because it makes management slower, at practice situation is simplest if your employers invested not in the start-up itself there will be top down.
