Why do you think the major of art and design is always looked at as a less important major in the Arab world? And how can we change this view?

Most of the Arab countries are less educated and there sense of art is weak, they are more attracted to technology like buildings and cars.

as Islamic art is well known today Islamic artists have done many marvels creations but now they are distracted from there path of history and more focus on others things.

arts is come from the class of love, care and attentions and these are mostly feminine characteristic which is lake in Arab world, because men are dominating there.. so this is a cultural effect

although its hard to change and take a long time but it can be change by changing there beliefs and incorrage the women to take leading part in the Arab world.

Country of saudi arabia is a less tropical environment i think the reason they make major of art a less priority is just because they want to make it same as the other country where industrialization is the majority. we can change the point of view by giving and showing them the importance of art where the world has no color without an art :)

Creativity reaches its maximum expression when it is not conditioned by mono cultures or religions. The maximum expression of design lives in total freedom of expression and anarchy. The curiosity for everything and the acceptance of all the differences that exist in this world, together make a real creative moment.

It is very important indeed, but in developing countries, innovation and industry is not a principal question for the nation. Designers, have to look for finding spaces, to their projects and products, starting with small companies, being very creative and recursive

The way each major is evaluated depends on its necessity. In the Arab world arts and design majors were considered less important for the fact that Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics played a bigger role in the economic activity.

Nowadays, arts and design are essential to make each field stated above to become more noticeable and reachable for clients.

Therefore to change the view, designers should turn heads to the idea that what was considered once a privilege is now indispensable for the continuous flow of industries and to be able to compete and stay up to date with the technology. 

Because most of Arab countries still work in developing their nations in terms of: education, medical, technology, and others. However, overseas, art is involved all theoretical sciences such as: Business , marketing, ...ext. where in Arab countries , this term simulate only art subject

major reson may be work as the weather condisions in arab countries are more factors to influence the importance of changing the views.

the arabian society firstly is a mixture of Thoroughbreds mix of cultures that have ancient history. Most of them predominantly Muslim character, which is the platform of life for all components of the Arab community .  This makes it be when the Arab person understood narrow dimensions for the arts in general
