What are the problems that you experience when you received the materials from the supplier?

Sir consignment after received we have check the condition of box next count the items as per invoice if found damaged make an return note to supplier

There could be several not one!

-Description mentioned on the PO not matching with the material supplied, i.e. change in brand or specs as at times supppliers compromise on brands to reap greater profits. 

-Damaged goods

-Partial delivery

-Incorrect P/N delivered

 

The above mentioned are few of the issues we face, hence a good storekeeper (receives goods) is required with some good Supplier Management efforts put in by the Procurement function.
