I'm used to develop software for IP cameras SAMSUNG ( SDK with owner). Is there a standard SDK for development with a variety of IP cameras regardless of the brand. I mean a hardware independent and generic SDK for all cameras on the market?

I have used Live555 generic c++ library. http://www.live555.com/liveMedia/ its an opensource you can freely download and use.
