SWOT analysis is not the essence for a sales job rather it can be applied in other fields also. Whether its an organization or individual; SWOT analysis is a tool which allows to find your strengths and opportunities and how these two can be used to overcome weaknesses and threats, or how the gap can be fulfilled. It shows where you stand.

So knowing your strong and week areas means that you can play, strategize and compete in better way. And in the case of SALES JOB the importance of SWOT doubles as you have to know about you, your organization, competitors and much more and set your sales goals accordingly.
