Management theories range from actively fraudulent, through completely useless to being somewhat helpful for some people.   However, part of the reason there are many is that you need different ones in different circumstances.   This makes them largely useless in practice.

Always remember the basic principle of good management - treat people as you would like to be treated.  This applies to everybody - your team, your boss, your colleagues and your customers.
