THE  MAIN TWO ADVANTAGES OF INVERTER TYPE AIR CONDITIONER ARE (1) IT COOLS VERY QUICK THAN CONVENTIONAL AIR CONDITIONER BECAUSE OF HIGHER RPM OF COMPRESSOR CREATE HIGHER PUMPING.

(2) IT CONSUME LOW CURRENTAS ITS COMPRESSOR'S SPEED IS CONTROLLED BY INVERTER DEVICE.

TWO DISADVANTAGES OF INVERTER TYPE AIR  CONDITIONER ARE  (1) IT IS COSTLY SO,MIDDLE CLASS PEOPLE CAN NOT AFFORD TO BUY THIS SYSTEM.(2) AS IT IS CONTROLLED BY A MICRO PROCESSOR PLC IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO REPAIR BY TECHNICIANS WHO ARE EVEN HIGHLY EXPERIENCED ON CONVENTION TYPE AIR CONDITIONS.

Advantage

1.) lower electricity consumption compared to conventional one. higher electrical cost saving when it operates in a 24/7 operation than conventional one.

2.) Temperature is maintained from set point after startup because the compressor and fan speed varies to attain temp. set point unlike conventinal one that it shut downs the compressor when it reaches the temperature set point.

Disadvantage

1.) High Initial Cost

2.) more electronically operated thus troubleshooting makes complicated.
