Which is the best discipline in engineering? Electronics, electrical, mechanical, civil or else?

Electrical Engineering because i am passionalte about the designing in Electronics and industrial control. So i prefer this field. it involves all the basic courses and knowledge that fullfill my goal of life to become a electronics system designer.

It depends on two major factors:

1-Which one you like.

2-In which country you will work.Since some branches are not required much in some countries.

But in general I advice you to study structure and concentrate on being designer (concrete and steel structure) since this field is required every where you go.

Whatever you want and interested in of these engineering disciplines, is what will be the best for you :)

don't ask me, I am a civil and structural engineer, so my answers are...............

All Course or job are have discipline, not only engineering. Discipline is up to the people if he want to show his discipline. A real profesional engineer  has a discipline in his self not only what kind of engineer. 

Mechanical is mother of all branch. Anybody cannot do anything without any machine.

each discipline has its own importance. If we study in depth in each ,then it will be the best
