Static characteristics of instrument do not change with time while that of dynamic characteristics change with time. Examples of dynamic characteristics of instrunment include Speed of response, Measuring lag, Fidelity, and Dynamic error while some examples of static characteristics include Sensitivity, Precision, Accuracy, Repeatability, Linearity, Reproducibility, Resolution, and Threshold
