What is cash flow statement?

Statement of cash flow is one of the financial statements, which reports the flow of cash generated ( cash inflow ) and used ( cash outflow ) categorized in operating, investing and financing activities of the organization, represents an accounting period as specified  at the top of it. Method of preparation could be direct or indirect.
