Do the month end cash book balance and bank statement for the same with tally?

it is not mandatory that the cash book balance will be tally for this purpose we will make bank reconciliation

It should be tally but there are certain issues like writ-off and other outstanding financial issues not in the cash book and not in the bank statement but in the general ledger
