When we can neglect the effect of capacitance in overhead transmission lines ?

In lines with short distances. The distance depends on the voltage level. For example, in a KV O/H  T/L , if the distance between sending end and receiving end is more thanKM, i would suggest to have transposition. If it is less, then it can be neglected.
