It is depending on weather, the type of joint ( expansion joint, or shrink joint or uneven settlement joint etc), and construction technology. it is several hundred meter without a single joint in Beijing airport concrete slab construction.

normal practice is aboutm  

 

PT structure may allow for more length for a separation joint or shrink joint
