Which is better working as a DBA in developing environment or working as a DBA on production database with live transaction and high traffic users ?

Both needs to same set of technical skills, but in production environment you need to be ready to take pressure while working as it is demanding environment can't afford to lose the business and ofcourse I think they will be paid appropriately. Thanks.
