sharing personal experience can give juniors confidence and can foster interest in the material of blog. but if you target highly professionals and personalities than i would say NO.

Personal experience always works the best. People don't like to read about some imaginating stories - they want to hear real life stories and see real examples. SO of course, I am always sharing my experiences and it helps people much more than some theoretical things.
