Automotive Industry has evolved from pure Mechanical, Electrical & Chemical engineering into Mechotronics Engineering for keeping, safety, comfort and energy conserving with specific on Enviornmental concerns. Latest Technology is being used extentsively to make sure the driver and passangers enjoys luxurious comfort, while enhancing safety and cost effective. This indutry did not have sufficient connection with Academic side. Hence professional Technicians were not made available. Older Technicians could not cope up with latest technology, apart from draing from retirement. Recent past Automotive Industry started realised basing high downtime, high repeat jobs etc., They started establishing collabarating with Academic Institutions and courses are being introduced for building professional technicians. It will take sometime to job market to witness the Latest Technology supported and trained, qualified technicians.
