Customer is always right or customer is the King are the phrases every person who is in sales or marketing knows in its true sense. Customer is right means that it is only the customer through which your business is surviving and making progress.  So he should be given proper respect and honor. Many companies has trained their staff as how they can feel customers respected and happy. Polite words like may I help you, Can I solve your problem are used while giving service to the customers.  As a Sales person we try our best to provide the best services to the customer to make him feel preferred and happy but some time situations occur where customers are in-genuine and want to take advantage of their politeness. People should be trained and empowered to deal with such situations. Even in such cases we are bound to treat him specially and politely in low tones.  So in brief Customers is always right mean that we should try to make him happy, honored and preferred.
