Mechanical Engineering divided into three sections:

1- power mechanical engineering

you study power generation methods like renewable energy sources and power stations.

internal combustion engines with4 and2 strokes.

HVAC system for refrigeration and air conditioning , fire fighting systems design and implementations and plumbing systems also this is called mechanical construction and this career is almost the highest rank in middle east for real state and residential projects.

2-Industrial Engineering or Production Engineering

you study maintenance and machines and how to deal with production processes and this i you need to take career as production or maintenance engineer and increase productivity.

3- automotive engineering

you study systems of vehicles and you can work as maintenace or operation or in planning and porject management or in quality control section , also you can work in sales department.

these are general description, you have to choose what you want, love and ask more people about their career.

in my point of view mechanical power is almost covering the three sections in its study and you can work in different departments in companies depend on your skills and scope of work.
