Is offering branding and marketing strategy to startups and small businesses a viable business?

Thanks for the invitation. Also need to study the profile of the start up so that my reputation is not at sake. In India e retailers like amazon and flip cart are doing great business. In emerging markets in South Asia(specially India) start ups for courier service, catering service, computer and mobile retail and service, e- shopping firms are doing good business. So I should first choose my client carefully. 

It is viable business if you possess excellent marketing skills for branding and making effective marketing strategies. 

from my point of view it depends on the market needs and how can they perceive the strategy and the marketing concepts till now some people mix between Marketing and sale, marketing and advertising, marketing and business development  ..... of course branding and marketing strategy are important but the most important is your market acceptance
