What is the difference between nose discharge and C S F?

the CSF contains glucose and the nose discharge doesn't

nose discharge can be sniffed back csf cannot then there are tests like handerkerchief test csf makes it stiff and the most specific beta transferrin test

CSF discharge- thin,watery,does not tend to stick to the handkerchief, positive for beta transferrin,  salty, positive halo sign and reservoir sign.

Nasal Discharge is thick, mucoid,tends to stick t the handkerchief, negative for beta transferrin, not salty, negative halo sign and reservoir sign.

csf contains high glucose according to nose discharge and it is more clear.

CSF(cerebrospinal fluid) is with high glucose

CSF- Positive glucose content, when it is send to lab for testing
