How can a teacher make his students love him?

Love is an essential quality in an teacher learner relationship.  If you cannot get your learners to love you or if you dont love them, you should not be in a classroom.  In the21st century most parents work or there are a number of single parents.  As a teacher one has to be aware of the complexities that young children face.  There is always a need to support learners because the majority of them need some kind of emotional support.  The first step is to learn more about each child in the classroom.  What is their background, where do they come from and what their challenges, weaknesses and strenghts are?  It is important to get children to write about these issues over a long period to ensure there is enough information about them.  Information could also be sourced from observation and conversations.  Often the children who manifest attention seeking behaviours have unfulfilled needs or lack support.  Therefore by gaining insights into a child's life one can respond to their needs and treat them with love and care.  The response on the part of children will be love.  Love is the most powerful tool for any teacher even with the most difficult children. 

Everybody will have  their own opinion on this because it  is impossible to please everybody at the same time.So, I think teacher makes his students love him by many qualities.I think that the qualities that a teacher should maintain are the abilities to relate to their students on their on level, make learning fun and easy to understand, be nice so students will listen, make the kids look forward to entering the classroom, and above all.... maintain control.

A teacher cannot make anybody love him, as love is a natural sensation, not a forced one. So, a good teacher can only lead his students to understanding that he is good and if he is good and tender, maybe, he will induce love from his students
