I take various oral as well as written activities to simplify the grammar topics.

Unless you have been trained in TESL (teaching English as a second language), you probably don't know much about how to address the needs of these students. You may not be sure at all if direct instruction in English grammar will be helpful to them, or if it is, how to go about it, or if you knew how to go about it, how to find the time to focus on what seem to be unusual English problems. I follow these steps asking myself: What do I need to know about your ESL students? How are other languages different from English? What general strategies are helpful with ESL students? What are some specific ways I can help?

As far as my opinion is concerned, I have always tried many tools in order to make my pupils overcomes their problems with grammar. Yet, the best solution is watching videos that explain the grammatical rules first. This way they come to learn the theoritical part  in a new way. Then after, I make them do exercices and quizes online. They see this as a games online and the tend to compete to get higher marks.

I try to make them understand by using four or five practical sentences. It helps them to understand  the changes in the structure in the sentences

Usually when I see many students struggling with a concept I like to pause the lessons and go through a class long review of the concepts that we've been studying. When it is one or two students who are continuously struggling, I like to give them some extra materials to help them catch up.

1_focus on use of the rule in everyday language.

2_  prepare a full range of examples to cover the rule and its exceptions/ details.

3_help students to formulate the rule and teach each other if needed.

4_practice makes perfect, so a defferntiated exercise with generous questions touching individual defferences ( from form to advanced level) is a must.

r5_finally, prepare yourself for biving hints or shortcuts for laziest students, and sometimes the smartest, lol
