Yes offcourse.

If we hire a distributor for a region. it should be required warehouse to buy bulk of items to mantain inventory.

Surely Distributor would need space to keep inventory, warehouse is term for relatively large area having more scientific layout that includes factors like Inbound area, storage area, outbound area,area for buffer stock. Depending upon the volume and value of inventory distributor would need stock keeping area.
