For any and all interviews you should be well groomed and confident. The first impression you make when you step into the room leaves a lasting one. So make sure you are well dressed, hair is properly managed, nails are clipped, breath is fresh and you smell nice.

While this may seem 'baby' advice - I can assure you, more than60% of the candidates I have interviewed lack in one or all of the above.

Have a firm handshake and during the interview, make sure you do not fidget or shift in your chair constantly, not chewing gum. Maintain eye contact with the interviewer, this is a mistake a lot of candidates make. Practice this in front of a mirror, read a passage from a book or a news paper and then look into your own eyes and recite it - if you are unable to look into your own eyes - how will you do it in an interview?? - so practice this step rigorously but ensure you maintain steady eye contact and NOT stare.

What you would be asked in the interview is very subjective - my advise is to do thorough research on the company, role and if you know who the interviewer is - read up on them too on LinkedIn or Bayt. Make sure you know what is written in your resume, sometimes candidates themselves do not know what they have written. Prepare a list of questions you may have for the interviewer and importantly what compensation you are looking for and how much you are willing to negotiate.

Mr. Zafer Jehad has listed quite a few commonly asked questions, it would be good to prepare on their basis.

Wish you luck!

2. What are the biggest weaknesses?

3. What is the most powerful strengths?

4. How do you deal with pressure and tension career?

5. Describe the position / functional problem and explain to us how you can deal with them

6. What is your assessment of the criteria for success?

7. Why did you leave your last job?

8. Why should we employ you, exactly?

I would sugget to:

- Explore the key responsibilities of the position for which you have been asked for interview.

- Learn about the company, its culture, people, business dynamics as recruiters asked about it.

- I strongly suggest to asked for the interviewer name and via social media learn about your recruiter.

- By combining the pre-working and preparing yourself for the same, you could communicate positive image.
