some disadvantages of this layers are;

Time

The more levels of management that exist, the more instructions need to be relayed 

 

Lack of Flexibility

 Employees who might have been able to serve multiple roles and make their own decisions in a flat organization are constricted to a single role and must make company changes through the management structure.

Politics

Many levels of management mean a great amount of bureaucracy for the organization, and this can lead to problems. 

Lack of Innovation

When a company has many levels of management, it tends to produce ideas only at the top, with a few executives creating most of the company's strategy.
