Can we installed centrifugal compressor on instrument air? if no then why cant we installed?

No we can not installed the centrifugal compressor for instrumentation air because centrifugal compresure will run on continuous basis and it has a constant flow of air while we need such type of compressor which can vary the output as per requirements. and carry the load .
