What are the differences between convention hotels and conference centers?

The biggest differences between conference centers and convention centers are the size of the group served (typically smaller in convention centers) and the level of service provided (typically higher in conference centers).  

Сonvention hotel first of all is a hotel.

Often a conference center does not have rooms to house attendees, however some hotels do have conference centers within them.A convention hotel is design to both host and house attendees.

its complete together conference hotel group contain1000 to1200 pax and will do in secret closing door  so its diffrent its closing door or opened to make prestige for all participates  

There is major deifference is in term of scale of services/size. convention center are smaller in size(typically one hall) & confernece centers have more capacity.

The Major Difference between them would be the size of group it can manage. In Conference Centers usually a small group number can be managed, however Convention Hotels have larger space to accomodate larger group of invitees. Services may also differ between Convention Hotels and Conference Centers. 

Convention Hotels are the places where there are events happening with large number of people gathering for a common purpose or haveing an agenda.  For example a meeting of any group of people for satisfying their personal agendas

 

whereas a conference centre is a place where people come together for sharing, gaining and improving their knowledge.

Conventional centers host events and provide accommodations while conference centers host events but do not provide accommodation

Convention hotels are known to be normal hotel which has all kind of facilities accommodation rooms restaurants conference rooms big building including all 

 

Conference centre has only conference halls

 

The main difference is that a conference center usually has lodging attached to it, and offers a higher level of service for its events than a convention center. A conference center typically has several types of meeting rooms, whereas a convention center will typically consist only of exhibition halls.
