Logistics contributes to time utility by recognizing that different products have different sensitivities to time. For example, a three-day late delivery of bananas likely has more serious consequences than a three-day late delivery of a box of pencils. As for place utility, logistics facilitates products being moved from points of lesser value to points of greater value.

Logistics creates time and place utility primarily through transportation. For both utility, there will be different types mode of transportation to ship the jewelleries and steel...Time utility occur while jewelleries are expensive goods and need more security, therefore, air transport is exactly the right choice. The place utility also is much more far for the distance from one place to another. Compared to steel, the right choice of mode of transport are by rail or sea, because it didn't required more expedite time.
