Corporate image could includes: corporate behavior, service, visual identity...etc . illustration is a visual shape/form to represent the corporate image visually.

A corporate image is a complex mix of attributes that were transformed from a mental image and intangible state into a visual image looking forward representing / endorsing the 'personality' of a company and persuading clients / prospects that the company really has that personality. An illustration is a graphic and visual image that derives from a desire of self expression to communicate an idea, but is not used for representing a company since is not following protocols and conventions for creating a logo (e.g. memorability, scalability, simplicity, etc)

There is a substantial difference between Corporate Designs and Illustrated Logos. Corporate Designs are simple, yet unique and memorable graphics that are highly recognizable from any reasonable distance and size. An example would be Nike's "swoosh" and McDonald's "arches". Illustrated logos require more complex artwork. The turnaround for these types of logos is5 business days. The price for Illustration logos varies depending on your needs.
