Definitely, we being in HR are not for technical assessment and we do follow our competency based questions and in technical interviews the head inquired about quality aspect. We in HR are more concern about candidates technical specifications.

1. Steps for making a Procedure Qualification record and Welding procedure specification.

2. Steps followed in material inspection.

3. Points to consider when conducting welder qualification.

4. Do u have any certification  CSWIP3.1/3.2 or API certified.

The applied standard you worked with, AQL level, sampling standard used, quality plans and quality objectives , all of these could be a direct and technical questions for quality assurance engineers. I think.
