What is they good format for Safe work method statement for any work?

1.      Warning Description: Indicate name of the equipment on a sign board and alert with warning sign not to touch or handle carefully

2.      Working with the equipment: Please put on another board the precautions to be taken during handling or checking. Clothing to wear, shoes to wear, what to be done in emergency

3.      Periodic Maintenance of the equipment: Hang a maintenance card with string stating date of last maintenance, work done, next periodic schedule etc.

The item # 1, 2 and 3 may be considered “safe work method statement”

Identifing  the work that is high risk construction work

specifing hazards relating to the high risk construction work and the risks to health and safety

describing the measures to be implemented to control the risks, and describing how the control measures are to be implemented, monitored and reviewed.
