Deterioration of stock insurance policy covers storage goods whilst in a refrigerators against losses due to failure in the power supply of machinery breakdown which lead to damage as the result of rise or fall in temperature which consequently lead to a deterioration of the storage goods.

This type of insurance is classified under engineering insurance .
