when a corporation purchase a Treasury Stocks it will make a market on its shares so the stock price will increase

When a company purchase its own shares in the open market it is recorded in an Equity Account called "TREASURY STOCK". Treasury stock reflects the difference between the number of shares issued  by the company and the number of shares outstanding.

Recalling of the shares is not for the purpose of Withdrawing the ownership.
