Is Social Media Marketing a effective channel to reach your Target Customer....?

Depends. Social media is effective introducing new products and brands in new jurisdictions, but it is not always a effective channel for mature products or companies.

Only if your targeted customer spends time on social media.

There is no better way to reach young and youth customers than social media channels. However, one must admit that it is also a lethal weapon if not managed well!

for example if you want to reach your elite, premium target, Twitter is the best tool to meet the m, however facebook is the most mass social media chanel to reach everyone.

Yes, if your target audience is keen on utilizing social media. So you need to know who are you targeting first. Plus I guess it depends on the message you want to send out. Some communications will not have a great impact through Social Media channels, just because users do not go online to find such messages. thus it does not create in interest for them through such channels.
