Will logistics reduce our costs?

Yes it must reduce costs in all logistics steps

depend on what is the purpose from the logistics department in the company and the position for the logistics department in the company .

i mean if it was the original business same as shipping and haulage company's it will affect greatly in reducing cost.

if it was for transportation purpose it will affect but in a small way .

Yes. Because if we find means to minimize our transport expenses, this can help us to minimized or cost.

infect there are2 types of logistic (Local & International) & YES logistics can save cost by strong planing. 

This is a very general question. If we talk for international logistics and we take into consideration that the number one priority of a company is to collect its products at a just in time basis it cannot reduce costs at a big extend. If we talk about local logistics i strongly believe that there are better possibilities to find ways of reducing our costs.

yes of course good management of logistics will be reducing your products  cost and it is the Main game for  sale  price of any products  

logistics is a group of several activities which has different neuter as you know like transportation,storage,internal handling and related information data analyses as will.

to understand how we can get a benefit of logistics we should clarify the diffident between tow kind of logistics1st kind is logistics as a core business like shipping companies,storage companies and  handling companies2nd kind is any kind of business but logistics companies e.g. industrial companies or retail companies this kind of business need a good study to the need of logistics services if there is a very good logistics over all the needs i think it will reduce the cost because in this case the company will avoid the capital cost not relay required in the core business therefor the company will concentrate there original business else the company should handle logistics activities by a good department with a specialist staff.

It depends up on our logistics management. if we are doing the logistics operation by our own there will be benefit. proper planning is necessary to reduce the logistics cost

sure logistics and store team can reduce the cost by control the issuance and by check the consumption for the specific parts and for limited shelf life consumables and request them for keeping in the STK based on that
