What is the difference between VRV , VAV & VRF?

VRV variable ref volume

VAV Variable air volume

VRF Variable Ref flow same as VRV

• VRV : Variable Refrigerant Volume
• VAV : Variable Air Volume (used to apply positive or negative pressure in the system)
• VRF : Variable Refrigerant Flow (same principle for VRV )

VRV and VRF are both same and are tpy of cooling system and having the beauty of cooling and heating the different spaces of a building with the same system.

VAV is the method/device used to control the air quantity so as to attain the desired temperature in different rooms.

VRF stands for Variable Refrigerant Flow.

VAV stands for Variable Air Volume.

VRV stands for Variable Refrigerant Volume.

Daikin is the only manufacture to call their systems VRV as they patented this acronym for the sole purpose of their systems. All other manufacturers call their system VRF systems
