What the best material to study CIA ?

I believe it is more related to what you personally perceive as the best method and most comfortable one to get ready for the exams.

Maybe you are someone who relies heavily on the text book and prefer to retain data rather than rationalize them, or maybe you are more into the multimedia stuff so you will better absorb the material by watching video lessons or reading powerpoint presentations, etc.

It really depends on your personality, your acquired body of knowledge and professional experience, no one will be able to advise on the “best way”, you just need to see what study plan you are more comfortable with and that suits your busy schedule and you go for it!

As for the CIA study materials,using the Gleim material, I find it to be very comprehensive in nature, the material is very well organized and easy to understand, it covers all subjects that you will encounter in your CIA papers, their web based application will take you through an extensive set of practice questions per part and per section and get you very well prepared for the exams as you can simulate the actual exam exactly like you are going to take with same time per part, etc.

Or if you prefer to find the correct answers and their justifications per question as you go, this is an option as well. Bottom line their questions bank is extensive and accompanied with their textbooks, I am pretty positive they will help you in passing your papers and help you become a Certified Internal Auditor!
