I believe happiness is overrated. Happiness is defined differently on an individual basis. I don't think our society is well equipped to handle intelligent people, which is probably why most are unhappy.. We have to baby the not so intelligent and that is hectic on its own..

By the way, have you been reading Ernest Hemingway? :) He was an intelligent person who couldn't find happiness and so he took his own life.
