Production Planning comprises of planning all resources to achieve the desired product (or service, but production planning is mostly co-related to manufacturing). Reources may be contain labour (including skills and availabiliy), materials and tools.

3. How to Produce?

4. How much to Produce?

The " Product plan " is the plan you make to achieve the target required of the product from the points of view :

* - Quantity

* - Quality

This plan should be incountered by " Time " limits.

While, the " Brand plan "is the plan you make to increase the " Market Share " by concentrating on the points of view:

* -  Increasing Sales.

* -  Improving product Design.

* - Innovative product introduction.

* - Market requirement Studies.

So, the difference is in the way of vision to the product itself .
