What are the global trends 1. trend towards Containerized cargo 2. trend toward bulk cargo Whichever you prefer, and if you are importer?

If I'm importer or exporter I will chose containerized cargo for the following:1- organized2- no tampering3- avoid mixing with another cargo.4- easy to transfere, distributing, inventory.5- avoid any kind of damaging

Comprehensive reply given already. I will also chose containerized cargo due to organized packing, safety, no tampering/ mixing with other items, ease of transfer/ handling and distribution.

The global  trends are towards the most sophisticated packing approach the containerized cargo rather than the bulk cargo because containers are more safe , therefore if I am importer I prefer the containerized cargo .

For your information in marine cargo  insurance the premium  imposed to cover the containerized cargo during specific voyage is less than bulk cargo , as well as deductibles.
