How to get entry/mid career job in consulting when you don't have' visa for the country you are applying to?

My eyes on Accentures which asks for 'Employment visa status' before they consider to hire. On other hand, visa autjorities require a valid offer letter from a potential employer.

Hi there,

I could be too late, but if you are still looking for ways to work with Accentures, here is what I think you should do.

1- You may be willing to get a visitor's visa (to help you enter the country you want), then go visit the company and talk to one of the managers there. Make sure you take your Resume with you, and show them that you qualify for the position you want to have. Explain to them that you are NOT allowed to get that job with them as long as you are on a Visitor's visa, but you could start as soon as they file the H1B sponsorship for you and they are accepted.

2- Another way you could do it is to try to contact them by email (or call if possible) and show them your interest in one of the open positions they have, and explain your situation. If they want you, they will file the necessary documents for you that will allow you to enter that country and start working.

3- A final option I could think of is, since Accentures has locations all over the world, look for a location in a place close to you & doesn't require a visa. What you need to do is to land a job with that location, work for a bit with them, then ask to be transfered to another location (the location you want).

The company you are looking to work for does sponsor H1B Visas for qualified employees. So, make sure you have the necessary qualifications, and I'm sure you will get in. :)

Best of luck!

Look for a consulting job in your country with a multinational corporation, and move internally.
A long term plan but worth it.
