A question which surely is debatable & have2 School of Thoughts : " Many except - Luck ( Taqdir ) and No Luck ( Tadbir ) " . I would say - its a gel of Taqdir & Tadbir which allows us to go near the finish line and close a situation /negotiation & be systematically helpful in win/win situation .
There is no Spoon feeding - Luck alone does not work . Luck is just a topping of grace / blessing ( thats it ) . It is right planning in the right direction / right move at the right timing / all this could be achieved if a person is god fearing & unidirectional ( fish eye concept ) / hard working to reach his goal / goals are well defined in the road map . All, this together works just chuma saying Luck (or) it is me who has done wonders is wrong .
