There are many benefits of moving your IT infrastructure, in part or in whole to The Cloud, as well as various considerations.
1- Costs: You can manage and reduce your business costs by having your IT systems managed by Cloud system and paying a fixed monthly fee rather than incurring high capital expenses.
By only using hardware and software that you need, money isn’t wasted on technology that is never used, meaning you only pay for resources as you use them.
By housing software remotely, the speed of individual desktops is increased and overheads such as power consumption and licence fees are reduced.

For many reasons like:
1- Cut cost You don't have to buy servers, or hire IT professionals to manage the servers.
2- Availability and Security In the cloud they have a lot if experts to run the servers, so you don't have to worry about miss configuration, that can lead to downtime and security breaches.
3- You free your IT staff to do other work, other than managing the servers.
This is what came to my mind for now, but i am sure there is more.

Relying heavily on Cloud services is more aspect of future endeavors.
Companies tend to candy coat their services, if you going to use cloud now, you should "consider" it as supplemental rather then such a radical change.
