Why don't most schools have a character building curriculum?

IT SHOULD BE THE NO.1 AGENDA ON THE TABLE WHILE MAKING CURRICULUM.... BUT MOST SCHOOL SYSTEM ARE NOW FOLLOWING THE GRADE GAME,,,, JUST MAKING THERE STUDENTS TO GET THE GRADE BY ANY MEANS........... SAD APPROACH.

The Question involves the answer. Its all about behaviour which cannot be taught but can be learned . all depending on a passion of a teacher .Is he ready to go beyond his basic duty. Does he shares the things about child during parents meet apart from study.

I don't know the reason for not having such curriculum. But, I strongly advocate that it should be introdced.
