Who is your greatest writing influence?

Many, actually and from world literature and non-fiction. Nagib Mahfouz, Pakistani short story writer Manto and poets Faiz and Iqbal. A relatively unknown pre-Islamic poet Imralqais, Irving Stone.....and hundreds more.......greats.

Many authors, actually - because I read a wide-range of genres.  I pick bits and pieces of style from each of those authors and incorporate them into my own.
